Shipping An American Augers Drill With Expertise and
Efficiency
Josh Chiappetta successfully transported a massive 2023 American Augers
Drill mid-size directional drill from Ohio to New York. The customer needed the oversize
drills for an upcoming city-wide fiber optic and telecommunication overhaul in New York
City. Josh’s repeat customer didn’t hesitate to call because he knows that Josh is the
best when it comes to extreme project moves.
Beyond thrilled for such a unique and fulfilling project, Josh started the
hauling process for these massive American Augers Drills.
But just what are American Augers Drills? They’re also called mid-size
directional drills. They drill into the ground in a non-vertical direction. This is also
known as directional boring. It’s usually used for oil and gas extraction, but as noted,
in this case, they’re used to install the new fiber optics system.
Transporting The Mid Size Direction Drill In Three Parts
You can’t move all equipment in one piece. Take a plane for instance. You
must separate the fuselage from the wings and haul them on different trailers. Well,
transporting the American Augers Drill is a little more complicated.
The name might say “mid-size,” but this behemoth machine requires expert
skill and shipping knowledge to move safely.
Not only that, but the drill is scheduled for five transports. Josh must
ship each transport in three parts.
That’s right. Three different machine pieces. Three different trailers. One
exceptional transport agent.
