Loading and Transporting the 2455 Mobile
Conveyor
Stephen pre-planned the route, ensuring that the proper permits were pulled
as the conveyor was an over-length load. When the driver arrived, he had all the
paperwork and necessary permits to ship safely.
Next, they needed to load the mobile conveyor. The driver had a double drop
RGN Lowboy with 30' in the wall, a 10' front deck, and 13' rear deck, making it perfect
for the mobile conveyor. Because the conveyor is mobile, they could lower the ramp of
the double drop RGN and drive it up onto the trailer. The team utilized the mobile
conveyor stabilizers that fold down and keep it balanced during transport. They then
secured it safely with both chains and straps.
Delivering the Mobile Conveyor Safely and On
Time
When the team disembarked, Stephen directed them to use I-71N and I-80E for
the best and shortest route. The driver kept in contact with Stephen, who, in turn, kept
in contact with the client, so they knew what was happening every step of the way.
When they arrived at the destination, they carefully unstrapped the mobile
conveyor. They then folded up the stabilizers and drove it down the ramp.
The client was extremely happy with the process and vowed to partner with
Stephen for all future transport needs.
