Every plastic panel load we handle has edge and corner protection applied before the first panel goes on the trailer. Foam edge protectors, rubber corner caps, and protective channel sections are applied at all exposed edges and corners based on panel dimensions and edge profile. For panel deliveries where stacking creates edge-to-edge contact between panels, separation material with adequate thickness to prevent edge contact during deflection is applied between panel layers. That edge and corner protection is applied at every potential contact point, not just at the obvious ones.

For FRP panels with molded textures, decorative PVC panels, and specialty architectural panels with appearance-critical surfaces, our team uses only soft, non-abrasive separation materials that cannot disrupt the surface texture at contact points. Foam-backed separation, felt-faced material, and similar soft contact surfaces are used throughout loads carrying textured and decorative panels. No rigid or abrasive separation material contacts appearance-critical plastic panel surfaces at any point during loading, transit, or offloading.

For polycarbonate and polyethylene multiwall panel loads, our loading crew uses wide, flat blocking and load distribution surfaces that spread the weight of stacked panels across the full panel width rather than concentrating it at narrow blocking contact areas. Binder straps are positioned at panel edge framing locations where the panel structure is strongest in compression, rather than across the panel face where cell compression occurs. That load distribution approach preserves the cell structure that multiwall panels' thermal and structural performance depends on.

For large plastic panel loads on hot-day hauls, our logistics team builds load configurations that allow for thermal expansion movement at panel edges without creating lateral pressure against containing elements. Panel bundles are not tightly confined in the lateral direction during hot-weather hauls. That thermal expansion accommodation approach prevents the edge contact and distortion that thermal cycling creates in tightly confined plastic panel loads during summer transport.

For plastic panels specified for outdoor applications with UV resistance ratings, opaque covering is applied before the truck departs the supply facility. For translucent roofing and glazing panels where optical quality is also a consideration, breathable UV-blocking material is used rather than opaque covering that traps heat against the panel surface. That UV protection approach preserves the stabilizer content that outdoor service performance depends on.

For panel deliveries where installation sequence determines which panels are needed first, load configuration places those panels in accessible positions on the truck. That installation sequence coordination reduces the handling events between the truck and the installation point, protecting the panels through the final delivery stage.
