Shipping Workhorse Trucks to All 50 States

Workhorse Group Incorporated began as AMP Electric Vehicles, which was founded in 2007. When the company went public in 2010, they began to focus on electrifying commercial vehicles. Under a development agreement with Navistar, they set out to supply power for a 1,000-cubic foot delivery van. Though the electrification project was stopped, in 2012, the project vehicle passed its performance test. AMP began to work directly with the client and succeeded in producing a battery-electric test truck that could withstand a 4,000-mile durability test.

In 2015, AMP acquired the Workhorse brand and was able to manufacture medium-duty truck chassis in the 14,500 to 23,500 GVW class and officially changed its name to Workhorse Group Incorporated.
