In 1989, Pursuit 3250 Open was almost being completed and was introduced in 1990 during the New York Boat Show. Over the years, Pursuit continued to grow. In 2018, Pursuit Boats was acquired by Malibu Boats and added to their premium brands. The same year, Pursuit Boats was awarded NMMA CSI award for the sixteenth year in a row. In 2019, Pursuit Boats spoke about their new plant expansion. The same year, they were given the NMMA CSI award for the seventeenth year in a row.
